Sundayland starts out with the highest quality of California grown knotty pine available, hand turning the base and stem, naturally bringing out the character and sheen of the wood. For the shade, pine is taken to a whole new level, near transparent, then backed with an invisible polyurethane. Light glows through the grain of the wood, knots and all, illuminating any environment.

The Gersovich brothers, Juan Diego and Ferndando, are born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, respectively in 1972 and 1975.

After graduating from Architecture school in the Universidad de Buenos Aires, the brothers travel to the United States to work for two prominent architecture offices, Lorcan O'Herlihy Architects and Alejandro Ortiz Architects.

In 2003, they get their first commission for the front-yard of a house in Venice, California.

Since then, Sundayland is established in Los Angeles, California, as a creative structure where dreams, materials and production processes are composed.
